About Us

The Junior League of Racine, Inc., is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Junior League members reflect a wide range of backgrounds, interests, and professional pursuits, but share a common bond: the belief that we can make a difference. We use our time, energy, and talents in the spirit of building a better Racine. Our members give over 4000 uncompensated hours annually.

Working together, we identify the needs of children in the community, forge effective coalitions, and work for positive change. We award an annual scholarship given to a high school senior and bi-annual special aid grants.

Since 1916, the Junior League of Racine has been a driving force behind the kinds of initiatives that make our community a better place to live. When the Junior League is involved, other organizations have come to expect flawless execution and dedication to success above and beyond the norm.

Junior League women care deeply about the projects we support and the people that are ultimately affected by our actions. Time and time again, we step up to address the needs of the community. IN addition to providing financial and hands-on support to the community, we believe strongly that our members deserve training to help them succeed in League…. And in LIFE!
