October GMM (General Membership Meeting)

Our October GMM will be an introduction to Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) and inteactive training session, presented by Heather Kind-Keppel. Heather is the Outreach Prog Manager for UW Parkside’s Ethnic Studies Department. Our Fund Development and Nominating Placement Committees will also present their ballot; voting will take place during the November GMM.

Following the GMM, we will have a small celebration for our 103rd year of bringing trained volunteers to the Racine community and kick-off out 2019 #GivingTuesdays campaign.

The Prairie School SRC is located on the south side of the school with a parking lot and door (arrow icon). Look for the “JLR Event Here” sign

Directions from the west and south – From the intersection of Main Street and 3 Mile Road, take 3 Mile east until it turns into Lighthouse Drive. The entrance to the SRC is the first driveway on the left after the turn (star icon, between a corn field and playground).

Directions from the north – you can either take 4 Mile Road until it turns into Lighthouse Drive, and the driveway is the first driveway on your right (star icon) after Lake Meadow Drive, or you can take 4 Mile Road to Main Street, take Main Street south to 3 Mile Road, and follow the directions above.

Our meetings are open to active members, sustaining members, provisional members, and any woman interested in learning more about what we do.
