A Note From Our President

Welcome to the Junior League of Racine, we are delighted that you are interested in our organization.  The Junior League of Racine was founded in 1916 and this past year we proudly celebrated our 100th birthday.

The Junior League of Racine prides itself on developing programs that will have a positive and lasting impact on our community.  Our history is rich with community outreach activities and programs that we have developed and continue to grow and thrive with our community partners.   The preschool story hour at the library, the LiOUD (learning inside out and upside down) preschool readiness program, and the Fresh Start program are just a few examples.

The mission of the Junior League of Racine is to develop women as civic leaders, offering opportunities for training and leadership development, volunteer service, and advocacy.  Today, the JLR is making an unprecedented impact on the changing and challenging landscape of the Racine community by improving the lives, health, education and welfare of our city’s women and children. We however cannot do it without the support of our invaluable partners, dedicated donors, and passionate advocates and friends. I invite you to learn more about the Junior League of Racine and our 100 years of empowering women to transform the Racine community by exploring our website.
